A heliodor and diamond-set stylised hourglass ring with matching earrings by Geoffrey Rowlandson, the ring centred with a baguette-shaped yellow beryl and set with circular-cut diamonds to the corners in 18ct white gold, London marks for 2005, makers mark, size K; with matching heliodor and diamond-set 18ct white gold earrings

Geoffrey Rowlandson was born in 1931 into a family of fashion and jewellery designers. The Rowlandson Company began as a means to create bespoke classic jewellery and twenty years ago the Rowlandson Unique Collection was established to create original and innovative pieces of jewellery. Geoffrey's talents were recognised by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmith, earning him 'Jewellery Designer of the Year' twice, 1998-9 and 2002-3, as well as numerous commended awards including 'Me and My Shadow' in 2002 and 'The Royal Christening' in 2014.

The Victoria & Albert Museum exhibited his 'Fire and Ice' Tiara in 2002. Three of his pieces including 'Grand Jeté' were again selected for their 2013 Pearl exhibition.

More recently in 2014 The Royal Christening brooch was awarded a commendation by The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
