A 19th century French Egyptian Revival brooch and matching earrings attributed to Emile Philippe, depicting the bust of the goddess Hathor, the brooch centred with a scarab set with a cabochon turquoise in silver, supported by sphinxes to the base and with lotus pods below, set with further cabochon red stones and turquoise with polychrome enamel decoration, conforming silver earrings, with a fringe of turquoise-coloured enamel drops, unsigned, pendant 5.5cm high, fitted case marked 'MED:D'OR 1867 EMILÉ PHILIPPE FP.D' OBJET ART 36 RUE GRENÉTA'
