THE PRIMROSE LEAGUE was a Conservative Party group formed in 1883 and named in honour of Disraeli who had died in 1881. The Primrose was apparently Disraeli's favourite flower and Queen Victoria often sent them to him. Crown with enamel Primrose, 4cm wide. Enamel Primrose. Horseshoe with enamel primrose.
