Medals & Coins, Arms & Armour
Tuesday 2nd December 2025. Starts at 10:00am
This auction offers a broad range of interesting and desirable lots. Medal collectors will find such scarcities as a C.I.E. group with an India Volunteer Forces Officer’s Decoration, and a Waterloo Medal to a Captain in the 6th Dragoons; as well are a variety of gallantry awards, and campaign medals with interesting histories.
The coins section includes the second part of the Winterbourne’ Collection – a methodically assembled collection of carefully selected British coins which we commend to the attention of serious collectors.
There are edged weapons, including Japanese swords, and firearms including a scarce pair of late 17th century flintlock holster pistols compete with holsters, many other antique fireams, and a variety of offerings for firearms and shotgun certificate holders.
The auction will conclude with some interesting militaria, and a selection of very good reference books, with much to attract medal researchers.
It is the buyers responsibility to satisfy themselves as to the condition of any lot(s) they buy. The condition does not form a standard part of any catalogue description and where reference to condition is made it should not be regarded as exhaustive. The grading of coins and medals is a comparative and subjective exercise and in these cases buyers are likewise responsible for the condition of lots.
