An early 19th-century English flintlock blunderbuss pistol, two-stage octagonal-to-round brass barrel 3.5 in. with flaring muzzle and line engraved borders to the flats, scroll engraved brass box lock marked 'WEBSTER' and 'LONDON', safety bar engraved with foliate chevrons, sprung bayonet with hollow triangular-section blade released by sliding the trigger guard to the rear, chequered wooden grip with engraved steel cap, later side-mounted ram rod, Birmingham proof.
