An Indian shield (dhal), all-steel, the outer surface with gold koftgari work in an arrangement of discrete lozenges and roundels, applied decoration of a knot design in steel and foliage in brass, domed bosses covering the fitting of four rings to the inside, velvet lining, diameter 36 cm (14 in.); together with another dhal, brass with enamel decoration, three bosses, fixed brass grip, diameter 30 cm (12 in.); and another, black lacquered body with four flat steel bosses, diameter 33 cm (13 in.).
