Five European swords: a William IV 1822 pattern Infantry officer's sword, with pipe backed blade and gilt 'gothic' hilt; a Victorian officer's blade of 1845 type, lacking hilt; a Continental officer's sword with 35 in. curved and fullered blade, brass stirrup hilt with lion head pommel; a Siamese uniform sword in the European style, slender etched blade with Bangkok retailer's name, lacking hilt, steel scabbard; and a faux-mediaeval sword, blade 23 in., elaborate drooping quillons and pommel.
