A 19th Century copy of the Patterson Colt .36 calibre five shot percussion revolver

A 19th Century copy of the Patterson Colt .36 calibre five shot percussion revolver, octagonal barrel 9 in., cylinder engraved with stagecoach hold-up scene, folding trigger, flared grip, serial number 888 repeated on the major parts; the barrel has been re-bored or lapped out from either end, being smooth with 'steps' visible along its length, suggesting either an attempted remedy for pitting or a later replacement barrel.
