A fine Indian dagger (katar), triangular wootz steel blade 8.5 in. with broad converging fullers and swollen point, steel hilt embellished allover with a geometric and foliate design in gold koftgari, slender side bars, double transverse grips swelling at the mid-points, later red fabric covered scabbard.
