An Indian dagger (katar), characteristic triangular blade with swollen point and three converging fullers, steel hilt with white metal overlay engraved with scrolling foliage, flanges with trefoil terminals uniting blade and hilt, scrolling side bars, transverse grip with pierced details and interrupted by a faceted bead at the centre, 19th century; with a later steel display stand.
