An Indian ritual weapon (vajra), of elaborate brass and steel construction in the form of a stylised thunderbolt, the top formed as a three faced deity with skulls adorning the hair, coiled snakes in the intervals between the faces, horse head finial, the base as a dragon's head with hollow triangular-section iron spike projecting from the mouth, an axe blade to one side, 12 in. (31 cm); together with a section of bridle, leather backed iron plates with koftgari decoration; and a carved cattle horn powder flask. [3]
