A British 1856 pattern/ Mk I drummer's sword, brass cruciform hilt with unit marking '5_7 R.F. DRS' (possibly 57th Regiment of Foot Drummers), brass mounted leather scabbard; together with an 1895 pattern/ Mk II drummer's sword, brass hilt with smooth grip and various struck-out markings, brass mounted leather scabbard.
