A British 1846 pattern Royal Navy officer's sword

A British 1846 pattern Royal Navy officer's sword, etched blade by Henry Wilkinson and numbered 44420, retailer's name of Gieve Matthews and Seagrove, hilt with fouled anchor to the guard cartouch, lion head pommel with mane covering the full length of the back strap, retained in the scabbard by a spring clip, with later sword knot, hilt and scabbard fittings re-gilded.
