A collection of twenty pewter military figures, mainly after Charles Stadden and so marked on their bases, including: The Duke of Wellington, 1815; Napoleon Bonaparte, 1815; Light Company Private, Coldstream Guards, 1815; Drummer, 56th Foot, 1811; Private, Royal Marines, 1805; Corporal, R.M.L.I., 1902; N.C.O., Women's Royal Army Corps (R.M.P.), 1980; and others, all painted; together with three unpainted examples: Ensign, The Buffs; Private, Coldstream Guards (both c. 1815); and a soldier of the Royal Corps of Signals armed with a Sterling S.M.G. [20] nb. dates refer to the period represented, the models are all late 20th century.
