A family pair of cased Imperial Service Medals to a father and son: ISM, George V (CHARLES WILLIAM AVENT), engraved in serif capitals, extremely fine and toned; ISM, Elizabeth II (CECIL CHARLES AVENT), impressed plain capitals, cleaned, otherwise extremely fine. [2]

Gazetted 11/08/1922 and 29/03/1955. Both men were skilled dockyard workers.
