The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.), the Commander's neck badge to John Samuel Champion Davis, D.L., V.D., gilt and enamelled, first type, upper arm engraved to the reverse (J.S.C. DAVIS. / 7TH JAN 1918), with a short piece of ribbon; about extremely fine; together with the recipient's dress miniature group of three: C.B.E., Volunteer Decoration (VRI Type), Delhi Durbar Medal 1903, mounted for wearing, good very fine.

Deputy Lieutenant, County of Devon, 15th December 1914; C.B.E. L.G. 7th January 1918, "County Director, Devonshire, British Red Cross and Order of St John of Jerusalem"
