A small quantity of silver coins of the Ancient World, comprising: Southern Apulia, Taras, nomos, youth on horseback right, rev. dolphin rider, 7.7 g, near very fine; Corinth, stater, Pegasus flying left, rev. helmeted head of Athena, 7.79 g, very fine or nearly so; Rome, Empire, Gordian III, antoninianus, head right with radiate crown, rev. standing figure with spear and globe, 4.67 g, near very fine; Bactria, Menander, drachm, helmeted head right, rev. Athena standing with shield and thunderbolt, 1.9 g, good fine; Persia, Khusru II, drachm, bust right, rev. fire altar with attendants, 4.1 g, good very fine. [5]
