A collection of gold coins and commemorative medals, comprising: George III, guinea, 1788 (S 3729), plugged, otherwise about fine; Victoria to Elizabeth II, sovereigns (7) various dates, in specimen case, circulated, all about very fine; United Kingdom proof set, 1987 (3): two pounds, sovereign and half sovereign, cased, as struck; brilliant uncirculated five pounds, 1989, rev. Royal Arms on double rose, cased (S SE6), as struck; proof two pounds, 1988, cased (S 4261), as struck; Bahamas: Elizabeth II, Fifty Dollars, Independence 1973, cased, light handling marks, otherwise about as struck; Austria: two medals, Sir Winston Churchill, 32 mm and 19.9 mm, head left, rev. rampant lion with banner, 'THIS WAS THEIR FINEST HOUR', after Christopher Ironside, cased with certificate indicating 900 fine, good extremely fine.
