A Queen's South Africa Medal to Private William Cooper, Volunteer Battalion the Middlesex Regiment (and formerly Royal Irish Rifles), 2nd reverse, clasp: Natal (7162 PTE W. COOPER, VOL: COY MIDDX: REGT), impressed, very fine.
Attested at Hounslow 21/02/1900, stating previous service with the Royal Irish Rifles and belonging to the Middlesex R.V.C.. Served in South Africa from 10/03/1900 until discharged at his own request 18/10/1900. A stationer in civilian life. Natal scarce as a single clasp. Offered with copy research.
