A Great War trio to fatal casualty Private Albert Edward Beaumont, 1st/18th Battalion London Regiment (London Irish Rifles): 914-15 Star, British War and Victory Medals (3028 PTE. A.E. BEAUMONT. 18-LOND. R.), very fine or better; together with the corresponding Memorial Plaque (ALBERT EDWARD BEAUMONT), [4]; also with a Belgian identity certificate bearing a character reference from the Mayor of Ghent.

Born 02/08/1882. Travelled to Belgium in 1914, apparently to work as an interpreter. Entered France 09/03/15 and died 02/07/15. Remembered at the Mazingarbe Communal Cemetery. Offered with copy research.
