A very interesting embossed brass roundel, the style suggestive of a Roman phalera, displaying an eagle with outstretched wings, standing with one talon upon a branch, the other talon raised and gripping a wreath, all within a border of arches, uniface and backed with a second brass disc, the edge pierced for fixing, 12.2 cm diameter.
