JOSEPH HIGHMORE (1692-1780): Portrait of Mr and Mrs Edward Pryce, signed and dated 1752, oil on canvas, 102 x 127cm (40 x 50in) Family records show the Pryces paid Highmore 31 10s 0d for the picture and 3 12s 0d for the 'frame and case' on May 7th 1752 ++ Original frame which has been regilded in the past. Relined probably in the early 20th century. Otherwise untouched.
