Dreadnought, a three-masted medium clipper, was built in 1853 by Currier and Townsend of Massachusetts. She made 31 round trips between New York and Liverpool from 1853-1864. In 1869 she was wrecked off Tierra del Fuego, the crew were rescued after 17 days in 2 ship's boats
