Our December sale features over 300 lots of 20th Century and Contemporary art. Highlights include a previously unpublished landscape by Paul Henry; a group of pictures by Edward Burra; and paintings and drawings by artists including Mary Fedden, Laura Knight, L S Lowry, and Henry Lamb. There are also examples by some of the leading names in contemporary British sculpture, including Emily Young, Nick Fiddian-Green, Jonathan Kenworthy and Geoffrey Dashwood, as well as a maquette of Gandhi by Fredda Brilliant, an artist for whom Woolley and Wallis hold the world record at auction. 20th-century printmaking is represented in examples by Roy Lichtenstein, Pablo Picasso and Tracey Emin. We are also delighted to be offering a private collection of 20th-century Indian paintings, including examples by Paritosh Sen and Jamini Roy, which are appearing at auction for the first time.
