Attributed to George Marston (1882-1940) Hill Farm, Froxfield near Petersfield, seen from Oakshott Oil on canvas, unframed 30 x 47cm; 11¾ x 18½in George Marston was the official illustrator on two of Ernest Shackleton's Antarctic Expeditions. He later settled in the Petersfield area where he taught at Bedales School. Provenance: The present owner's father, who lived in Oakshott and knew the artist
