The poses of the Madonna and Child would appear to reveal a knowledge of Veronese's Bevilacqua-Lazise Altarpiece, executed c.1548 for the Bevilacqua Chapel in the Church of S. Fermo Maggiore, Verona, and now in the Museo di Castelvecchio (T. Pignatti, Veronese, 1976, I, p.103, no. 1; II, fig.1); Berenson attributed that picture to Brusasorci in his 'The North Italian Painters of the Renaissance', 1907, p.179
