A good Battersea enamel scent bottle case c.1760, the flattened oval form well painted with colourful flower sprays reserved on a blue ground, enclosing a small glass bottle with silver-coloured metal cap, 5.6cm.

Provenance: formerly the Ionides Collection.

Condition Report

The glass stopper to the bottle is lacking beneath the metal cap. There is a tiny area of fill just above the metal release button. Otherwise good.
