A rare South Staffordshire inkstand c.1780, the shaped form painted with small landscape panels within raised gilt cartouches on a turquoise ground, with further raised enamel flowers and scroll motifs, set with two removable inkwells with circular covers, 13.2cm across. (5)

Condition Report

There is some good restoration to an area around 5cm of the base's upper edge. This is not immediately apparent to the naked eye. Otherwise good.
