A gold-mounted English porcelain dog whistle late 18th/19th century

A gold-mounted English porcelain dog whistle late 18th/19th century, simply decorated with leaf sprigs on a white ground, the gold mount with a white enamel band inscribed 'Accours a Mon Appel' (Run to my call), with a small hinged compartment to the base, contained in a later fitted box, 6.5cm.
