Nell Nicholas is a painter and furniture designer. She is from Salisbury, and currently lives and works in East London. Nell works with galleries and collectors around the world. Her solo exhibition, "Treasure" is currently on show at Monti8 Gallery in Italy. In early 2021, Nell opened her shop and studio off Brick Lane in Shoreditch.

This painting was made during the first Covid-19 lockdown and was inspired by Nell's residency at Horatio's Garden Salisbury.
