Sandrine Maugy is a fellow member of the Society of Botanical Artists and the French Society of Botanical Illustration. Her work hangs in collections in Europe, Australia and the United States. Sandrine’s first book Colours of Nature was published in 2013 and her second book Botanical Watercolours through the Seasons in July 2022. The French translation was published in the summer of 2023. She also writes articles for Artists & Illustrators Magazine. In 2023 Daniel Smith Watercolors released the Sandrine Maugy Palette.

Sandrine’s painting style captures the pure, vibrant colours of nature using wet-in-wet watercolour washes, giving this traditional style a contemporary twist.
