Jemma Powell (b.1980) is a British artist living in Oxfordshire. She is also an actress with a career that has spanned nearly 25 years (Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Foyle’s War, The Stranger, The Secret Garden and Sky series Devils). Powell attended Bristol University and holds a BA in Drama and a Diploma in Acting from The Oxford School of Drama. She has exhibited widely across the UK and has presented three solo shows for Cricket Fine Art, London. Most recently Words in Colour opened in June 2025 in the gallery’s London space. Her second solo exhibition, The Golden Thread, was held at Thyme in Gloucestershire in 2024. Powell’s work is held in several private collections in Europe, Canada, Australia and the US. The artist lives and works in the Cotswolds. She is a global Ambassador for Tusk.
