Binny Mathews, was born in Dorset, 1960. She had exhibited many times at the National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Academy and The Royal Society of Portrait Painters. She has works in public and private international collections, including that of King Charles III. Binny has appeared on numerous television shows and on the radio, including Channel 4’s Big Breakfast, the BBC programme - Star Portraits and she is a finalist on Sky’s Portrait Artist Of The Year 2022. Binny has been described by Dr Alison Smith, chief curator at The National Portrait Gallery as “one of the best portrait painters working today”. Binny paints still-lifes and landscapes in equal measure. She is also a private painting tutor.
