A walnut and marquetry chest

A walnut and marquetry chest, the banded top with a central oval of foliage, shells and birds, with a leaf border and conforming corners above cavetto moulding and two short and three long graduated drawers, fitted with replaced brass handles and escutcheons, the moulded base on later turned feet, basically 18th century with restoration, 84cm (33in) high, 96cm (37.5in) wide, 51cm (20in) deep.
