A Regency mahogany sofa table

A Regency mahogany sofa table, the satinwood crossbanded top with inlaid stringing and reeded edge, above two frieze drawers either side, fitted with later brass handles, on reeded trestle end supports united by an arched stretcher on scroll legs with brass paw sabots and castors, 74cm (29.25in) high, 117cm (46in) wide, (closed), 76cm (30in) deep. Provenance: Purchased from Trevor, Mount Street, London, 1988.
