comprising: a ewer, chalice and paten, gadrooned borders, the ewer of baluster form, gadroon borders, all engraved with 'IHS' within a sun and inscribed 'Ex dono Georg Ducis de Marlborough A.D 1773', height of ewer 29cm, height of chalice 20cm, diameter of paten12.3cm, approx. total weight 49oz. (3)

Provenance: presented by George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough (1739-1817).
