a crowned 'ID' maker's mark, London 1684,
tapering circular form, scroll handle with scratched initials 'V over WS', flat hinged cover with a scroll thumb-piece, with an original inscription 'The gift of darathy Hulse to her daughter Suana ban' to the body and later engraved initials to the cover 'RG:SV', on a spread circular foot, height 15.4cm, approx. weight 19.8oz.
