rounded rectangular back with ball switches to the sides, a compartment for celluloid month cards and stamp box to the front, inscribed 'Presented to Col.C.Colvin D.S.O & Officers, 3rd Battalion Essex Reg. By Lieu A Northey June 1914', length 11.5cm.
