Edward Harsell, Born 1583 was the son of Silversmith Richard Harsell. On the 7th July 1600 he was apprenticed to James Insall. He gained his freedom in September 1609. Two of his children also became silversmiths Robert and John, and he was master of Robert Wade II, the important spoon maker.
