slender rounded rectangular form, engraved decoration, the hinged cover inscribed 'Jas.Thomson 1855', length 7.7cm, plus a continental silver-gilt and enamel belt buckle, with dark blue enamel decoration, with gilded motifs and set with two mother-of-pearl cartouches, approx. total weight 3oz. (2)
