cartouche form, the hinged cover with chased foliate decoration and with a quiver of arrows, the inside of the cover with a miniature painted on ivory of a lady picking a flower from a basket held by a maid, the lever pulls out to move her arm so she can smell the flower, gilded interior, length 7.5cm.
