fluted cylindrical form, with a ring attachment, 7.4cm, plus a 9-carat gold combination dip pen and pencil, by Aikin, Lambert and Co., slide action pen, the nib stamped 'Jackson and Co., No.3', the reverse with a twist-action pencil, with a ring attachment, length 7.5cm, the slider and the end mount on the twist-action pencil are gilt metal, approx. total gross weight including mechanisms 40g.
