baluster form, applied with a lion head and winged figures, chased foliate scroll decoration on a matted background, the hinged cover with a squeeze-action opening mechanism, the scroll handle with ivory insulators, engraved with crest and a presentation inscription, on a raised circular foot, height 36cm, approx. weight 35.6oz.
