A late-17th century silver nutmeg grater,
maker's mark of T.K, probably for Thomas Kedder, London circa 1690-1700,
cylindrical form, engraved decoration, the hinged cover a base with an engraved follower, scratch initialled 'S.F', engraved with a later crest, the interior with a pull-out grater, length 7.1cm, approx. weight 0.9oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from S.J. Shrubsole, Museum Street, London.
