An early-17th century silver Buddha knop spoon,
marked once in the bowl with a five-pellet mark, probably West Country,
gilded bowl, the reverse of the bowl prick dot initialled 'V' over M.P' over '1636', tapering faceted stem, the finial with traces of gilding, length 19.3cm, approx. weight 1.7oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
