maker's mark J.G, probably for Joseph Gloster of Birmingham, Edinburgh 1919,
plain rectangular form, with a wavy-edge thumbpiece to the front of the cover, plus an Edwardian silver stamp box, by William Hutton & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1909, with pointed edge cover, length 14.1cm, total approx. weight 11.8oz. (2)
