A Victorian novelty gilt metal trunk desk stand,
by Leuchars, 38 Piccadilly, London circa 1860,
in the form of a cylindrical trunk with blue buckles, the cover inscribed 'Corp: I E Witherington', to the underside of the cover a white enamelled dial watch, to the interior a pen tray, an inkwell, stamp and match compartment, engraved crest and inscription to the covers 'Presented by the Ladies of Berkshire' and 'Lockinge Camp 1864', length 17cm.
