shell-shape form with an engraved decorative border, the clasped hinged cover with an embossed scallop shell cover with an engraved monogram, to the interior a stamp compartment and a glass inkwell, the interior cover inscribed 'Presented to William Bromley Esq, in grateful recognition of 25 years loyal service to the Egginton Estate, by Major Sir Edward O. Every Bt, April 25 1894 - April 25 1919', on leaf feet, length 14cm, approx. weight 20.1oz.
