A pair of George III silver scissor candle snuffers / trimmers,

by Wilkes and Booth, London 1811,

the handles with pierced gadroon and foliate decoration, plain ring handles, the steel cutter with a guillotine mechanism, the cutter stamped PATENT, engraved with a crest, length 16.5cm.

The crest is that of Pamure, Roskruge, Rose, Price, Dunbar and others.
