A George IV large silver snuff box,

oval form, engine-turned decoration, the hinged cover with a cast raised scene of the Judgement of King Solomon, the underside of the base with a vacant oval cartouche, the interior gilded and later inscribed 'Colonel T.B.Shaw-Hellier from Capt. N.H. Bacon, 4th Gadroon Guards 1884', length 10.2cm, approx. weight 7.7oz.
